Ella Blankinship is a New York-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, and producer, originally hailing from Colorado. Ella’s deeply confessional yet conversational lyrics, accompanied by acoustic guitars and other bluegrass instruments, create a melancholy folk atmosphere which she has coined “Rocky Mountain Melanfolk.” Her upcoming EP, Happy for You!, is set to be released in the fall and is her cumulative thesis from her time at Berklee NYC, where she will receive her MA in Songwriting and Production in June.
