In the Spring of 2021, the San Diego Convention Center is being used as a holding facility for young asylum seekers. Milli and Lupe are hired as youthcare workers to help take care of the unaccompanied migrant children being held there. As the months go by, they must adjust to the changing rules and restrictions at their job.
