Insipidus is a three-piece metal band from Denver, CO, blending thrash, black metal, and fusion into a relentless, high in tenacity sound that merges raw power with unfiltered emotion. Monkey man means monkey business: heavy psychedelic improv stoner metal/funk. Plastic Mystic blends elements of No Wave and modern post-punk with flashes of psychedelia, a dense, electrifying sonic assault. Walls of fuzz, driving percussion, and visceral vocals collide to channel themes of consumerism, spiritual dislocation, and the collapse of meaning in a post-truth world.
